Irish Emigration-A society has been founded in Orange County to stimulate emigration to the Emerald Isle. The found- er and promoter is Will Whelan. His dream is to influence enough wealthy Irish to return to Ireland to reclaim the land and make it an Irish Republic. Athletic Innovations-Clyde Whitney, recently engaged as football coach by the Los Angeles University, is developing a new style of play similar to the old rough and tumble tactics. His in- novations are being watched with closest interest by the entire football world.
