fWM m fmi Sanger High School has a certain kind of Pride that no other school has. It is that mysterious something that sets us apart. Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors, faculty, administrators — everyone who is apart of our school contributes to this special feeling in his or her own way. That “Pride in the Past and Promise for the Future” is the “personality” of our school displayed in our classes, special activities, and personal relationships. It is pride, dignity, enthusiasm, and the special sense of caring that is felt in the air, and in the halls and classrooms of Sanger High School. As you look through this book of memories you will remember the “Pride in the Past.”As you see the love, joy, and excitement in each picture you will always remember that the enthusiasm shared by the students and faculty was truly a thing of beauty. We never slowdown — we are always on the run to the best. We know we’re winners, all of us, in our school spirit. The students and teachers alike show respect for our terrific school. This gives us the feeling of a family, knowing that we care about each other. We will always remember the smiles, greetings, excitement, tears, accomplishments, and even the defeats that got us through this past year. The fabulous year, ’84-’85 not only came back with annual events, but brought with it many changes that will be remembered throughout the years. There were doubtful moments when we received report cards and anxiety when we attend memorable dances and elected favorites, and Homecoming court. This year holds many fond memories that will never be forgotten. 4

We, the annual staff of 1984-85 present to you the Golden Warrior. This book is about you, for you, and a part of you. In it we have strived to perpetuate the memories of our school, its spirit, its teachers, and the friends with whom you shared pleasant associations. In it are classmates and friends whom you may never see again after you leave Sanger High, but will always remain in the pages of this book.
