Thumbing through a copy of an ancient Golden Leaves we Hnd a poem written by an outstanding member of the third grade-Bob Wade. Bob really claims the distinction of being the oldest member of the class despite the fact he left after fourth grade to attend school in Wilmington. Returning this fall to finish high school, he immediately won his place as right end on the football squad. In the short time he has been back he has made manifest much of his early knowledge gained here and has proved a contributing member of the class in every way.
