BASKETBALL It IS not hard to understand why the patient followers are so excited when It comes to basketball since it is one of the most interesting sports It is thr1l11ng to watch Big Bill Schultz pop in a basket when the rest of the players are still under the opposite basket Rebounds gathered by John ny Maher and forwarded to Arnie Holland or Arthur Math1eu by sharp shooters Don Payeur and Roland Chabot seldom miss finding the rim of the basket While the VaFS1ty record was six wins out of twenty starts it should be noted that most of the games were lost by a narrow margin Robert Batherson gave us some more wins by coaching the Junior Vars1ty while Lawrence Arnold pro duced a good showing for the Frosh Another Notch The Varsity D.
