'llhe clulfs activities comprised the playing of chess among the memhers and also one chess match with Kennehunk at Sanford High School, won hy Kenrehunk High School hy a score of 5-4. 'llhis was the first of a two-ont-of-three game series: the seeond mateh was scheduled to he played at liennehunk High School in March. The boys hoped to reverse their set-hack at that time a11d thus luring ahout a final match to determine the series winner.
