This year, for the second straight year, the Calhoun quintet, under the tutelage of Coach Mike Lurel,finished its season in fifth place with a seven-nine record. Greg Lange, a member of the Calhoun Holiday Festival all-star team and the Section II all-star team, was our out- standing player. Greg Lange, Brad Uhle, Willie Yates, Don Groul, Dennis Keely, Henry Betjernann, Ken Levy, and Frank Triolo won varsity letters. Mr. Willard Mills' J.V. team had a Hne sea- son. Our bowling team completed its most successful season to date this year. The fourteen man squad practiced hard each Friday under the watchful eye of coach Silverbrook. Their practice stood them well, for their skillful bowling at the various matches assured them of a successful season. By a Skillful Bowling and Rifle Team Calhoun High School's rifle team is a six man team consisting of the most skillful sharpshooters in the school. They practiced of- ten and hard with the helpful coaching of Mr. Edward Stevens. The team played other schools at various matches and Finished their season victorious. TOP - Mr. Stevens, S.
