These were the times of the quiz-show scandals, of the payola scandals, and the obvious cleaning-up of government malpractices by Senate and House in- vestigating committees, as election time rolled around the corner. Princess Margaret settled down with her Anthony Armstrong-Jones, and Queen Elizabeth had a baby boy. Two planets were put into orbit by the U.S. and U.S.S.R. Hit shows were Take Me Along, Fiorello, Tenth Man, Miracle Worker, along with the old standbys My Fair Lady, and Music Man.
