SANFORD,NORTH CAROLINA The Forward Look can be seen in our campus which we are so proud of. There is the gymnasium, which not only affords us the pleasure of our athletic activities, but also our school dances are held there. With the aid of the modern facilities, we S' all enjoy the fine food in the cafeteria. Most elaborate is our splendid home economics building where we learn the art of home- f making. The science building, just completed this year, gives us the opportunity to study chemistry, f 5 physics, and biology. Our library has a pleasant at- mosphere so wc may study in quiet. Adjacent to it is to be the auditorium and music building. VVe all have our fingers crossed that maybe we'll f D 952 graduate in it this year. Hit hard by graduation, Coach Bob Reynolds, relying on new strategy, switched to the single wing. In the initial contests, strategy did not seem to be paying off, but against Raeford, an intercepted pass changed the whole outcome of the grid season. The jackets continued to roll as they racked up their second and third wins against Laurinburg and Lumberton by exorbitant sums. Facing the stiffest test of the season, the jackets hopes of overtaking Rockingham were marred by costly errors. Although the lackets outplayed them statistically, we could not capitalize on opportunities. After edging Whitexfille in a close tilt, the 'lacltets were tied by a determined Dunn eleven in the Annual Homecoming. In showing mid-season form, the iron-clad men of Coach Reynolds rolled over Tabor City and stunned the Red Rams of llamlet in the season finale.
