A last second toul shot gave South the victory margin. Three of the Cardinals hit double tiguros with Jim Parmenter leading the way with I4 points. Mike Smith added I3 and Charles Beauchamp had I0. FEB. I3--Sandy Valley was victorious over Canton South, 53-52. Mike Smith lead the scoring with 20 points tor the Cards. Elia Bafile had I4 points and Jim Boyd 7. JACKSON vs SANDY-Dec. 5-Jackson owned a 54-49 upset vic- tory over the Sandy Valley Cardinals in the Class AA League opener. Elio Batile paced Sandy with 22 points. Mike Smith added I4 points in doing some 'fine rebounding. JAN. I6-Sandy Valley had a tina showing by defeating the Jack- son Polar Bears by a score of 5I-49 after losing to them earlier in the season. Mike Smith and Elio Batile made I4 points each, Jim Caddell added II and Jim Boyd I0 points to come out on top in this thrilling game. Elio Bafile paced Sandy with I6 points and Jim Parmenter chipped in with I5 JAN. I7-The Sandy Valley Cardinals were again victorious over the Glenwood Eagles in their second game of the season on Jan. I7 when they outscored them 57-49. Mike Smith and Elio Batile made the scoring sparks with 2I and I8 points, respectively.
