Soon after school started we elected Mr. Fox as our advisor, and the officers pictured above. A committee was chosen to help select our class rings. Calentine received our rings December sixteenth, and were very much pleased with them. Our class play Backwoods Romeo was a success, and helped us through our financial dif- ficulties. Plans for our junior-Senior Prom were made and carried out by the Prom Committee. We hope that everyone had a good time. We returned to school September 6, for the 1949-50 season, no longer greenies but now Sophomores. At our first class meeting we elected officers, Claud Schuckers retaining his position as president for the second consecutive year. This year Miss Retort was chosen our advisor. Several members of our class were chosen for the Tri-Hi-Y and Hi-Y Clubs. We, too, did very well in sports this year, and hope to do as well next.
