Ten Eyck The student council, as the governing body of the associated student body, meets weekly during the noon hour. 'It is composed of an advisor, four officers, and thirteen representatives. Some of the functions of the student council this year have been: a student body skating party, several dances, exchange assemblies, March of Dimes campaign, a Christmas Card Contest, pep rallies, 8th grade day activities, Citizenship Awards which are given to one boy and one girl at the end of the school year, and a welcome committee consisting of a boy and girl selected from each class for the purpose of helping familiarize students who enroll in the middle of the year with our school.
