about, because she was only practicing her vocal pitch for a speech contest. Now I knew what the scream was for, but that still didn't explain the sound of crunching bones. I asked Anne what had caused that sound and she explained that it was only Ralph Stiles and Ace Clingenpeel across the hall. They were trying to prove to their wrestling manager, Leonard Waugh just which one was the best. Even though there was nothing more to worry about, my heart was still acting funny. I decided to go down to the neighborhood doctor and get an aspirin. On the way, 1 passed a little shop on the corner of Main St. and I noticed a sign on the door that read: Paris Lingerie Shop , Styles Directly from Paris, Manager, Gene Cyphers, assistant manager, Andrew Jackson. At last reaching the doctors office, I found that the nurse was Wanda Lee. After talking about some of the things we did while in high school, the doctor came out to give me a prescription for a bottle of aspirin. I didn't recognize the doctor right away, but as I looked more closely I found him to be none other than Earl Dibble. I still couldn't believe my eyes when I left, so I decided to go back to the hotel and get some rest. Next morning I woke up to the voice of the Sandy Tribune newspaper boy, George Leachman, shouting: Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Mystery solved. Mr. Croston finds misplaced senior diplomas at last minute.

Hollywood. She also told me that the Swedish Ballroom was owned by none other than Cleo Olson. While I was there, I had the opportunity to hear the famous Whispering Trio , consisting of Harvey Wright, Gene Evans, and Dale Ten Eyck, singing the new song, The Quiet Side of Life , written by Don Koch. After leaving the ballroom I finally arrived at the Blue Manor Hotel. Inside everyone seemed strangely quiet for some reason. After softly walking to the registration desk, I asked the manager, who to my surprise I found to be Sherry Hale, just why everyone was so still. She explained that Vaughn McManus, bookkeeper for the city council, was trying to find a |296.00 mistake in the books, and he wanted complete quietness. Well, I wasn’t going to be the one to interrupt him just then, so I decided to sit down and read the newspaper. As I bent down and picked up the newspaper, the big flashing headline caught my eye; Famous Journalist, Jo Hawkins And Rita Updegrave, Still Mourning The Absence Of Mr. Teters, Now Co-Editors of the Moscow Gazette. I also noticed that Malenkov has finally come around to our way of thinking It seems since Jeanne Scales was appointed foreign ambassador to Russia, Malenkov didn't have a chance. Then after reading several other headline articles I turned to the advertisement page. To my astonishment this is what I found: Learn to dance the Anderson way. Instructors: Jack Anderson, Walter Von Bergon, Pat Carlson, and Lotus Darnell. Honest Jim Limbaugh's Used Car Lot. Cars Guaranteed for two Days. Mechanics: Gary Seibert and Jim Bennet. Car Washers: VaLoy Deck, Beverly Johnson, and Gladys Updegrave. Sally Stroup'8 Reducing Solon. Guaranteed reducing diet for anyone under 97 pounds. Visit the wild and wooly Kangaroo Ranch for a three month vacation. You will be entertained by the famous Western Riders , Roger Shmaltz and Barbara Clark. Ranch owned by the Cowgirl of the West , Kay McLaughlin. Why take a chance in pulling your hair out with rusty bobby pins. Use the new Non-Rust Swirl Bobby Pins manufactured by Wally Telford. These bobby pins are highly recommended by the Glympic skiing star, Marilyn Markham, and by Barbara Gannon the worlds well-known woman wrestler. When I had finished reading the advertisement page, I sat back and started thinking once more about the happenings at the airport. While wondering what it was all about I leisurely glanced down at a book lying on the floor at the foot of my chair. Picking it up, I looked at the title, The Solution To The Perfect Crime. The author of the book was the notorious crime writer, Maureen O'Brien, the first person to obtain a real solution. After looking through the book I started reading the first chapter. The mystery was getting interesting and I was just about on the edge of my chair when I heard a terrifying scream and the sound of crunching bones. That sent my heart down to my toes! Gathering my courage, I ran up the stairs to where the scream had come from. Opening the door I found to my relief Anne Hudelson. She couldn't understand what all the fuss was
