STUDENT COUNCIL The student council, advised by Mr. Henry Pete, super- vises the expenditure of student body money. They have a noon meeting every Wednesday. The group is led by the student body officers, Tony Carlson, Marlene Motejl, Gary Gaulke and Shirley Win- binger. The other members are class representatives, chosen from each physical education class. Planning of the activity and assembly schedules is done by this group, also. They hear disputes between dif- ferent clubs, consider any matter of interest to students which is brought up by any of the representatives, and plan and conduct eighth grade day. The council is a member of the State Association of Student Councils and the National Association of Student Councils. They take part in two regional conferences each year. Seated: G. Skala, L.
