Organizations Twenty-seven high school stu- dents were involved in the Mentor- ing Program coordinated by Mrs. Betsy Waterman. Each of the stu- dents were assigned to a little brother or sister in the Elemen- tary School. The two spent time each week playing games, reading, working on schoolwork and be- coming friends. In December, the entire group, all fifty-four, got to- gether for a party which proved to be just great.

Each year the Drama Club at- tempts to attend a play or musical, attend the annual Drama Festival in Oswego, and prepare for their own performance. This school year the Drama Club took a trip to SUNY Oswego on December 7 to see the play A Christmas Carol. The group also traveled to Oswe- go College to attend the annual Drama Festival. During the Festi- val, students watch segments of plays performed by other high school students. They also have an opportunity to participate in work- shops pertaining to drama and a dramatic production. Then a play is performed by the students of Os- wego College for all the high school students to enjoy. The Drama Club's most impor- tant activity of the year was the staging of the musical Annie Get Your Gun on March 22 and 23. Scenes From 1983 Production of The Sound of Music Doe, a deer . . . Rolf fChris Hughsj tells Liesl KSusanne Al- brechtj that she is merely Sixteen, going on seventeen . . . and not old enough to be on her own. Maria fStephanie Piercej attempts to teach the Von Trapp family how to sing, The Mother Abbess lKelley Brownj and her nuns sing. Organizations
