Junior - Senior Prom 1984 An Evening To Remember . . . King and Queen 's Court: King Tim Monroe and Queen Lisa Bullock Court: Terry Wilson, Missy Henry, Mark Rempe, Angela Scheppard, Tim Drake, Atsuko Tajima, Mike Stevens, Cheri Towles. The theme and theme song of the 1984 Prom was Sail On . White roses were chosen as the class flow- er, and blue and silver were the class colors. The Prom took place at the Wine Creek Inn in Oswego. The evening began at 7 pm with pictures being taken during the Social Hour. At 8 pm everyone was seated for dinner. This was followed by Teri Soule's presentation of the Spade to the Iu- nior class. The dance floor was opened from 9 pm to 1 am featur- ing JTS Music. At 11 pm the DI chose the King and Queen's Court as well as the Prince and Princess' Court. After the Coronation, cake was served. With the close of the dance at 1 am couples went home with pleasant memories of a suc- cessful Junior-Senior Prom. Kim Haldane leads the girls in a contest Student Life singing Hey Hey, Boom Sha-wada-wada . .

The Spade was chosen as the Senior class symbol in 1891. The Spade represents hon- est work. It is handed down from the Senior Class President to the junior Class President each year as a token of well wishes. Each class ties on ribbons representing their class color. 1984 marked the 93rd year of this tra- dition. The highlight'f of the evening was the twist contest with Lisa Graham and Ray Gilman as winners. 0 Student Life
