SPECIAL EDUCATION PROGRAM The Special Education Program was mi tnated at Sandy Creek Central to assist stu dents with special learning difficulties The students, who are from the Sandy Creek and Pulaski schools benefit from a learning program and environment which are tailor made to fulfill the needs of each individual New York State laws set a maximum offif- teen students per each junior-high special education teacher to ensure that each stu- dent gets the special academic attention which he needs. The success of this type of program is de- pendent upon its acceptance by the students and teachers in the school district.
