WELCOME BACK Spirit week started our Homecoming with 5 days of craziness. T-shirt and hat day started the week with other events including movie star day, backwards day and orange and black day. A super Saturday finished the week's excitement. The parade was well attended. All of the students worked hard to finish their floats before the deadline. The Seniors captured first place with an enormous float, Puff . Overcoming the panic of a stolen float, the Juniors placed second. The Freshmen and Sophomores placed 3rd and 4th.

J J J J' J J J J J J The Homecoming this year was a great success plus a super victory for Sandwich. The chilly weather started everyone off in a rowdy mood. The parade was led by Marshall Russell King, a long time fan of the Sandwich Indians. Large crowds of loyal fans attended the game and celebrated the victory at the dance. The band Tamarack , with their wide variety of music, made the dance a really smashing event. The high point of the evening came with the crowning of the 1978 Homecoming King and Queen, Juniors, Ron Beardsley and Diane Fanning.
