Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. The year continued on while it got harder every day for members to be at school at 7:45. At the annual banquet, the club named Mr. Bill Squire as Citizen of the Year. Then, during the summer, the club rode their bikes in the Bike-a-thon to raise money for the Open Door. 1. VICA MEMBERS, LEFT TO RIGHT, FRONT ROW: L. Scents, S. Franklin, K. Krenz, B. Verme-land, T. Led in height by Gary Noll and Jay Jordan, the Indians literally practiced their pants off during the season. Inspired by D.J's hustle and Randy Colbe's desire, the Indians took second in the Malta tournament, with Gary Noll making the tournament team. Throughout the season the juniors were incorporated into the team to build endurance, confidence, and experience for a more successful season next year. The Sandwich fans were frenzied. And Plano's were the same, If we lose this wrestling match The fans know who to blame ! And so when Sandwich forfeited And Plano led by five, It seemed we'd need a miracle To keep our hopes alive. But Majors wasn't worried There is no need for that! For we have Mighty Stanley; Mighty Stanley's on the Mat! Take your time, stay off your back I think he's out of shape If he gets control of you Go for the escape Ride him hard and wear him down Then get him on his back, If you don't pin this man of yours, They'll put me on the rack!!! The fans could not believe their eyes, The fans were all riled up. What the hell's he doing?? He must be giving up But Stanley knew just what to do His opponent was too fat, He's sure to tire out quickly With Mighty Stanley on the mat. The wrestling match is history But it won't be soon forgot The fans will long remember That Stan was on the spot. Oh somewhere in this favored land, The sun is shining bright, The band is playing somewhere And somewhere hearts are light, And somewhere men are smiling And somewhere children grin, But there's lots of joy in Sandwich, -----Mighty Stanley got his pin! ! ! !
