They both met for one period every day and participated in several activities. Among these activities was a musical entitled Take it Easy which the choruses put on with the help of the student body. The Future Homemakers of America began the year with an informal initiation of new members accompanied by a party held at the Forest Preserve. During the year, they raised money through several bake sales and the selling of cook books. They participated jointly with the G.A. A. in a Christmas slumber party, potluck supper, and group caroling. In the spring a style show was sponsored by them as well as the annual Mother-Daughter night out. The activities of the school year were terminated with the formal initiation of new officers held in late May.
