As the summer progressed, so did the band. To be exact, they traveled about 28, 000 miles and made 21 appearances, winning many trophies and much prize money. At the close of the summer, they were asked to be the only participating band in a Tupperware Festival held at Northern Illinois University for 3 days. Our band has ac -complished much this past year, and it is said to be one of the best High School Bands in our district. We're all very proud of the contributions our band has made to our school, as well as to our community. ROW TWO: Sharon Meade, Carol Rogers, Ellen Brady, Denny Risk, Don Rosentreter, Shirley Bain, Laura Johnson, Linda Teal. ROW FOUR: Faith Clark, Sharon Everitt, Angelika Ix pata, Barbara Long, Susan Hurley, Maryam Carroll, Arlene Rosentreter. Chorus Both the mixed chorus and the girl's chorus enjoyed an eventful year. They both met for one period every day and participated in several activities. Among these activities was a musical entitled Take it Easy which the choruses put on with the help of the student body.
