As the summer progressed, so did the band. To be exact, they traveled about 28, 000 miles and made 21 appearances, winning many trophies and much prize money. At the close of the summer, they were asked to be the only participating band in a Tupperware Festival held at Northern Illinois University for 3 days. Our band has ac -complished much this past year, and it is said to be one of the best High School Bands in our district.
