Susan Larson, Valedictorian, tells of The Reaction. Bob Hebei, Salutatorian, presents his speech, The Electron.

Band Officers: Sonja Phelper, President; Judith Christensen, Vice President; Laura Hough, Secretary; Laura Johnson, Treasurer. Band The Sandwich High School Band, under the able leadership of Mr. Paul Rossok, enjoyed a busy summer of rehearsals, appearances, and parades. The 81 strong marching band led the Illinois Delegation of Lions in their International Parade in Toronto, Canada, in July. While in Canada, they visited Niagara Falls, Maple Leaf Gardens for a stage show sponsored by the Conneticut Lions for all parade participants, and were honored by being the first band to ever play in the lobby of the Park Plaza Hotel in downtown Toronto. When the band arrived home early Sunday morning, there were many experiences being told and recalled by all members. BAND: STANDING (left to right): Mr. Rossok, Gregg Gengenbacher, Ed Means, John Meilinger, Gary Peterson, John Middleton, Mayo Sorrells, Jim Cover. ROW 4: Jerry Curran, Ron Hutter, Lonnie Rogers, Teddy Fritsch, Louis Rex, Martin Cover, Phil Holbo, Bob Ferris. ROW 3: Elizabeth Latham, Carla Francis, Pam Batorson, Bobbie Johnson, Susan Hurley, Theresa Blackman, Tom Fatland. ROW 2: Susan Larson, Arline Rosentreter, Patsie King, Joann Gord, Linda Vincent. ROW 1: Gordon Tooley, Dan Holmer, Archie Fritsch.
