LATIN CLUB The Latin Club meets once a month with entertainment furnished by the members. Often, Latin games are played, reports are given, or slides are shown. On the day school was dismissed before Christmas vacation, the members congregated in the main floor around the Christmas tree to sing carols. The advisor of the group was Miss Harrod. F.F.A. The Future Farmers of America held their meetings once a month. Their main project was selling popcorn at all of the football and basketball games. They also had a lunch stand at a farm sale during the winter and a paper drive in the spring. For the first time, they held their initiation before the student body in the high school auditorium. GERMAN CLUB The German Club meets once a month to plan their activities. They went on two trips to Chicago, where they visited the Art Institute, saw one of the movies playing in the Loop, and ate at a number of restaurants, which served food from other countries. They sang German Christmas carols at the Christmas assembly and worked in concessions stand as other activities. The advisor of the group was Mr. Frey.
