TWIRLERS: Sharon Bagg, Ron Rhoads, Linda Vincent, BOTTOM: Karen Risk, Bobbie Johnson, Sue Hurley. The High School Band continued to progress in ability and achievements this year. They performed for all home football games, and presented a half time show at Earl-ville. In late fall, they performed at the University of Illinois and Northwestern University . They participated in three parades in Sandwich and also marched at visiting towns. They gave a winter concert and an annual spring concert for the general public. In April they went to the Illinois State Band Contest. The climax of the year, was a trip to Toronto, Canada, in July. Here they marched in the International Lion's Parade and made a general tour of that section of the country.
