Meetings were held on the last Monday of each month with special events in between. A new pin was chosen-the sterling silver helmet of the Roman Legionnaire worn alone by first year members and with a chain and S guard by second year people. Parents of members contributed untold pleasure to the club with their won- derful hospitality. Informal suppers were regular form for meetings besides Ice Skating- Quo Vadis -Roller Skating-group singing and a Latin game or two. The big high point was working toward a trip to Chicago for an educational holiday late in the yearg for this they sold cards, had a bake sale and watched the budget carefully.
