When We Began Twelve years ago in the first grade, we were a group of bewildered indi- viduals, not knowing what to expect in the rigid old classrooms of the Henry T. Wing School. The class- rooms which at first seemed cold, developed into our second home. The teachers of our elementary schools played an influential and un- forgettable role in our lives. The cru- cial problems which we faced now seem trivial. Making the third out in a kickball game, or dropping a tray in the lunchroom were major catas- trophes meriting a few tears or a day of sulking. Now these matters seem trite. As we have grown, so has the magnitude of our problems. Along with high school comes the anxieties of exams, the problems of a date for the prom, and the major decision of whether or not to attend college. As we made these choices, we developed into mature, self-confident indivi- duals ready to meet the challenge of our future.

We ' ve Got Tonight Prom night is the dimax of everyone’s junior year, and last year’s prom was no exception. The New Seabury Country Club provided a warm and beautiful setting with its spacious dining room and dance floor. The Black Apple Band gave a good performance of Bob Seger’s “We’ve Got Tonight’’, our prom theme, and other selections which kept the dance floor crowded all night. Beryl Richmond made a beautiful prom queen. The queen was accompanied by her escort Peter Closson. Michelle Willette and Candy Crocker were equally beautiful as the queen’s court. Their escorts were Mark Miskovsky and Greg Kelley. All of these combined, made the Junior Prom of 1981 a night we will always remember.
