'N X- E lt seems appropriate then, that a school such as Sandusky High, a school that ,constantly seeks to cultivate these in its students, should affix the name FRAM to its yearbook. The Class of '54 was fortunate, indeed, to have such uncommon pre- cepts as these to pave the difficult and trying, road it found in the begin- ning. Further, guided by able navigators, it traveled that road successfully endeavoring faithfully to follow the course set for them. ln the hope that this class will continue its optimism and hard work until its goal is reach- ed, we,othe staff, respectfully dedicate this FRAM to the Class of 1954. ii

To add to its laurels, the vessel was to sail farther north and south than any other ship in the world.
