Monticola underwent some drastic changes this year. Because of a linger- ing debt, the staff chose to have Herff Jones print the book. This meant learn- ing new ways of operating, further complicating matters for the already young and inexperienced staff. How- ever, despite the hectic, confusing, and sometimes frustrating deadlines, things became smoother as the year progressed. With the help of their new advisor, Mr. Bob Hamilton, the staff learned many important things that should make the operation run much smoother next year. 1. Group Picture; Front row: J. This years Home Economic Class has been very busy, and very successful. The girls have sold cookbooks and crystal, gone to district and state conventions, and have done more than enough for the needy in Sandpoint. President Jennice Ritchie; Vice President Bridgette Trudeau; Secretary Janna Coleman; Treasurer Terri Allen; Historian Deb- bie Simmons; Reporter Cinnamin Morrow. The group is active in many areas, but they feel doing things for the community is the best part. After their success in selling cookbooks the group purchased a film strip, projector and stand for the Home-Ec department.
