These individuals, in turn, selected Bonner County Defender Nick Lamanna as a third member of the arbitration board. Following considerable discussions between the teachers and the Board, the citizens’ group was eventually asked to explore a solution. And they did. Unanimously backing the teachers, the trio asked that the two parties try the new system for a temporary period of one year.
