Social Sciences Mr. Smith is one person who can tell you what happened when, where and why any place in the world. Originally from Minot, N.D., Mr. Smith teaches world history and is boys' counselor. To understand sociology, one must know about govern- ment, and what is U. S. government without an understanding of sociology? Mr. Terry Iverson from Coeur d'Alene, understands both and teaches them well. Coming from the Couer d'Alene area is our new U. S. History and U. S. Government teach- er, Mr. Marker, who looks upon the scholastic achievements of his students with the philosophy of grin and bear it. As Mr. Hunt's basketball team struggles for that one extra point, so do his U. S. History students. But Mr. Hunt, originally from Baker, Oregon, shows how to overcome these struggles and win. 18
