Our Governing Bodies SHS has seen several changes this year, including a senior parking area, a skiing program and the revision of the constitution. The students also experimented with a Student Forum in place of Student Council for the third quarter. According to Dan Lund, Student Body President,-the student forum was initiated on the basis of equality for all, the door was always open to participation, and all interested students were urged to attend. 24 At the right, the Activities committee members are from L to R: Tic Davis, Dan Lund, Miss Whitehead, Peggy Holbert and Sherri Williams.

Delegates: Marc Lyons, Sue Hanson, Dan Lund, Kris Kotschevar, Frank Lyons, and Kristin Grorud. Last spring when the Sandpoint Delegates arrived in Boise, their duties started early. At Boys’ State, Frank Lyons was Editor of the Gem Stater” the daily paper, with Mark Lyons and Dan Lund on his staff. They were also members os Congress at the State Capital. At Gifls’ State the girls all held positions in Congress, and several other duties, including Kris Kotschevar’s office of Secretary of the Senate. The Staters Alternates: Kit Kincaid, Phil Klatt, Lynn LaMarche, Mike Hook, Carrie Anderson, Dave Jacobson. 25
