Af'-if 4 , G 4 ge. 1 Qi Teri Shalz was chosen for the Commercial Club Award for its outstanding senior. Susan Hiatt, Teri Shalz, Judy Finley, Judy Turnbull, Barbara Kitt, and Gayla Archer are presented with certificates for taking dictation at 120 words per minute. Sharon Taccogna receives an award for the second rating in the National Latin Test. Peggy Broehl, Judy Chronic, and Jim Holt receive awards for showing dramatic ability and co-operation. Peggy also re- ceived a U. of I. regents scholarship for elementary education. Nancy Caughey and Rodney Johnson were chosen for the Danforth Award. Rodney also received a National Merit Award. Randall Marley, Mary Schaeffner, Pat Morris, and Shelly Mitchell receive awards for scores of 100 in the National Latin Test. Andrea Venishnick received scholarships for Rockford Collegeg Ellen Roos, Brigham Young Universityg Charlene Yeakle, Judson Collegeg and Rodney Johnson, the College of Idaho. Lesle Oliver and Mary Peine, state and local winners, receive poetry awards. Steve Strecker was chosen alternate for the University of Idaho Honor scholarship. He also received a Standard Oil scholarship. Steve was valedictorian of the class. Marianne Brown and Steve Anderton receive the Quill and Scroll award. Bill Carter receives a plaque for top sports writer in the state.
