Alvin is a typical high school boy, who has no patience with romance, but who is etor- nally bothered by the attentions of Patricia Parks, a pretty little go-getter, who has determined that some day she will become Mrs, Alvin Rawlins. About this time a group of South American families como to the United States on a good will tour from Argentina. Mrs, Rawlins thhnm it would be very patriotic to entertain one of these families in her home. In this way she can do hor bit to help cement the friendship between the tvo nations. She tries to do everything the Spanish way. Don Phillipe and his family, however, prefer to do things the American way--with laughable results. But Mrs. Rawlins manages things with a high hand, even to the extent of inducing her friends to buy expensive stock in Don Phillipo's mine. Then the newspapers headline a stfry saying that a group of po-ple are iretendine to be South Americans so they can sell fake m n ng s ook to the public.
