GLEE CLUBL - During the school year of 1945-46, Miss Patricia Huelbig called the Glee Club together three days a week, After weeks of practicing we went to Carbondale, Illinois on November dOth, to join in the nSouthern Illinois Choral Clinic Concert . ' On December 20th, we entertained the public with a Christmas program. We presented new versions of the Christmas Carols. We also represented our school in Highland, Illinois on March 2nd, when the soloists and sextet took part in a music contest. On April 2nd, the entire Glee Club competed with othersohools of this size in a music contest. We sang for Baccalaureate, May 19th, and Commencement, May 24th. We appeared before the public in two programs and several assembly progrmns. A'large portion of the band are seniors and will be leaving at the end of the year, so Miss Huelbig has underclassmen studying hard to take their places.
