September October 4 ll 18 18 18 20 28 23 2 5 8 8 8 ll 12 15 19 25 26 nCa1endarn September School opens and classes begin. --Sandoval vs. Patoka, there, in the first basketball game of the season and an overwhelming victory for the Blackhawks. --T he fisst meeting of the Senior class was held for the selection of officers. --Sandoval vs. Woodlawn, there, and a second victory for Sandoval in baseball. Baseball fans skipped school and went to the game but spent the following three days after school making up time. The Dramatics Club showed its first ability on the stage with a game of nTruth or the Conseqnencesn. Not bad was it? Patoka vs. Sfndoval, here, and just another baseball victory for the Blackhawks. The Seniors ordered their class rings which should be here before Christmas. October -D Carlyle vs. Sandoval, there, in baseball and again victory for the Blackhawks. Okawville vs. Sandoval and what do you think? Another baseball victory. Sandoval vs. Ashley, there and victory which assured the Blackhawks the trophy. Mrs. Dame joined her husband who returned from two years of service overseas. Students greet Hrs. Agnes Wehrle who took the classes of Mrs. Dame. Initiation of Freshman Home Economics girls. Lots of fun. The students as well as the end of the first six weeks. Welcome was given to Mr. returned from service. The Senior class held a Betty Richeson as their the season. Crahl rah! teachers celebrated Herklehack who meeting and selected cheer leader for ra11!D The Senior boys showed their dramatic abilitf in the greatest style show that has ever hit Broadway in Sandoval. Hurrah! Hurrah! Teachers meeting. Vacation for students.
