The promise, however, was not to last as the JV squad lost their last eight games. As a result of the young varsity squad filled with juniors, the -IV's played most of the year with sophomores, who gained much experience and playing time. Coached by John Conner, the team exhibited high spirit and determination not reflected by their season outcome.
