They covered such basic areas as U.S. History, World Geography, and Current Affairs, with such unique classes as Challenge of 2 l st Century and Social Psychology. Seminar 9 was taught by the Social Studies department, although it was not in the usual curriculum. Mrs. Murdoch said the department was relatively the same with the exception of location. Last year they moved from the main building to the barracks. With 1976 being the Bicentennial year the American History classes stressed the bicentennial theme.
