Ginger Carol. 14-year-old school girl, decides to try out for football. To the principals dismay. no ruling has ever been made about girls playing foote ball. Delighting.her father. Ginger achieves national fame for her accomplishments. lin- couraged by the devoted family maid. Liza zie, Ginger's athletic career proves ein- barrassing to joan and Jeannie, the other Carol daughters. Ginger -is finally featured on the front of Life Magazine. Scoring a TD. Ginger appears to have achieved the pinnacle of success. But this high point brings about her decision to drop out of football and resume a more feminine role as she realizes that her team- mates gave her the touchdown.
