climaxes s club year Sandia's S Club, known as the Lettermen club, maintained a busy year with many successful projects. Members sold nighties, kept students off the gym floor during as- semblies and ran the concession stand during basketball games. The members also helped organize Sandia's Booster Club formed by parents of Sandia athletes. Highlighting the year was the Lettermen-Booster basketball game and the annual S Club picnic in the spring. Lettermen Steve Byrd, Bob Sabino, Albino Martinez, and Charles Cloyes meas- ure a Matador nighty on Karen Dorcas. Officers are Pat Enright, treasurer, Doug Westphall, vice-president, Bradley Wright, president, and Orvie Hampton, secretary. The boys minpeted in city-league basketball gaines and tournaments, winning most of their contests.
