The assistants in Mt. Sli'nker's office typed up the daily morning announce- ments which were read over the inner- com during homeroom period. They were also in charge of the Lost 8: Found de- partment. The girls also handled general office details and assisted the Director of Stu- dent Affairs whenever possible. NR!! VQZAWFIIA? IW! Fe? iff!!! A41 Effie? Delivering mail, answering telephones and running errands kept the helpers in the main office busy during the year. The girls also typed stencils and letters, help- ing in general wherever needed. Mrs. Joh- nson, principal's secretary, kept the girls humming. Mrs. AIohnson's office assistants: Barbara Blank.
