Cafeteria Staff: Sofia Zamora, vegetables, Dorothy La Rosa, salad, Avis Anderson, salad, jean Robson, bread, Marsha Davis, pastry, Pat Bauer, dishwashing, salad, Delia Padilla, meat, Pinkie Stewart, supervisor. Busy! Busy! Busy! Sweeping miles of halls, tons of mud and dirt, picking up 'truck-loads of trash, moving hundreds of desks, waxing floors ....... work, work, work! This was all part of an ef- ficient program planned by the custodial staff to keep Sandia clean. The dependable cafeteria staff worked long and hard hours, planning and preparing meals for students of Sandia High School. Special foods such as pastries, bread and desserts were prepared in the school kitchen. The work was continuous, balancing meals and budgets. The staff worked as a group, but everyone had individual duties. The many tasks were supervised by Mrs. Pinkie Stewart, who planned the menus and ordered the food.
