MOS OOO (iii POE | see only two advantages in hav- ing quotes in the yearbook. The first is that it is different and it will give the yearbook a different aspect. The second advantage is that maybe a few more people will speak out on what they feel about certain things such as race relations and teaching practices. This is definitely a good way in which we, the student s, can voice our opinions. (Unknown) The idea of putting quotes in the yearbook is pretty good considering Sanderson hasn't ever done this. It expresses how people really are or how they think. Sanderson needs many changes in several areas in or- der to get the student body inte- rested in what they have. It has often been stated that the youth of today live in a time of change. They are be- coming more educated, more actively in- volved in issues they believe in, and less in- hibited about saying what they believe. Our school has seen many changes take place over the past year, and it seems only right that the students be allowed to voice their opinions on the issues. Throughout this book you will be able to share the opi- nions of others and weigh them with your own. In keeping with this idea, our goal was to get at least one quote from each student, but this is almost impossible.
