The Interior I entered the cave to the echos of my footsteps ricocheting to eternity. As my eyes adjusted to the dim lighting, I was awed by the vastness of my surroundings. Rays of weak sunlight filtered through pinprick holes in the cathedral-high ceil- ing. Dangling, ropelike moss beckoned to me with its spidery, grey tentacles. I shuddered involuntarily as an icy breeze wrapped around me and sent shivers along my spine with carefully placed fro- zen fingers. Colorless boulders, heavy with the weight of time, rested against the walls and sighed with boredom. Rows of marble pillars lined the walls, covered with an unhurried liquid that dribbled slowly along its course on the pillars' ex- teriors. Time stood still. Sandra Brinson 56! Sometimes . . . people are so busy trying to he someone else, they forget who they really are. Anne Bogensberger Ski Tracks High on the hill in the winter snow I see where the wandering ski tracks go. This side, and that, around and down Till they disappear behind the town. High above in the winter sky I hear the drone of the jets as they fly. Up over the clouds and now down u11der Making a noise that sounds like thunder.
