Spanish Honor Society The Spanish Honor Society is composed of students with a high grade-point aver- age in Spanish. They presented a skit for homecoming. Club members donated and decorated a Christmas tree and gave a Christmas party for the senior citizens of Trowbridge Nursing Home. They served refreshments and sang Christmas carols in both Spanish and English. S.H.S. also celebrated Spanish traditions at their Christmas party. An average S.H.S. meeting, Femandez, Sponsor. spanish Club Spanish Club members share an interest in the Spanish language and the customs of Spain. They participated with the other lan- guage clubs in the International Dinner. tudent Congress The Sandalwood Student Congress is the vehicle of Communication between the students, teachers, and administration. It has sponsored many projects and activi- ties including homecoming, a club earni- val, teacher aide indentifieation badges, and a successful Christmas card ex- change. Its service proj eels have included aiding in the Honduras Relief Program '51 Hurricane Fifi Relief, and the Rebecca Green Fund. To pay for these projects they have sold doughnuts, Dairy Queen tickets, and collected student activity fees. Sandalwood sllould be proud of their outstanding Student Congress and the leadership and responsibility that re- flects on our school through everything they do.
