These civic-minded leaders give freely of their time and energy in directing the business affairs of the school. Under the able leadership of Superintendent Clyde Boyd, SSI-IS has become an outstanding Oklahoma high school whose story is told far and wide wherever school activities are dis- cussed. I-Ie came here as athletic director in 1932. Pop Boyd also served as high school principal before taking over the superintendent's office in 1939.
