Sand Springs Sandites can loudly boast that they have one of the finest groups of outstanding business men as their Board of Education. This group of civic minded men give freely of their time and energy in directing the affairs of the school. Left to right, they are Ed Dubie, clerkg E. R. CLYDE BOYD, Superintendent of Schools For nearly a quarter of a century, Clyde Boyd, sup- erintendent of schools, has played a leading role in directing activities of San Springs high school. Com- ing here as athletic director in 1932, Pop Boyd was also high school principal before taking over the superintendent's office in 1939. Under his leadership the story of SSHS has been heard near and far where- ever outstanding schools, and school activities are dis- cussed.
