History f The Junior Class Of 19 5-5 .IU Illlt Franklin Crouch Leonard McHenry President V ice -President Leroy Herron Charles Greathouse Ray James Secretary Treasurer Reporter The presentjunior class consists of twelve students who attended grade school here. They are Howard Carr, Franklin Crouch, Beulah Frashure, James Johnson, Janet and June Kelley, Barbara Marks, Lawrence Marks, Myrna Marshall, James Massey, and Rondell Spaur. Other students who attended grade school and were with us in the seventh grade and have since left, are Ernest Lockard, Ruby Losh, Lonnie Skinner, Louise McHenry, Burl and Doris Peggs, Leo Radcliff, Billy and Bobby Townsend, and Mar- garet Townsend. James Bennett, Mary Cosner, Ray James, Wilma Lang- ford, and Shelba Mitchell joined us in the seventh grade. Myrna Marshall was electedpresident ofthe seventh grade of 1951-52. Ruby Losh was the only student to leave our class that year. In the eighth grade we were joined by Kermit Kirkpatrick, Leroy Her- ron, Perry Pritt, and Shelby Morris. June Kelly was elected president of the class. Shelba Mitchell and Billy and Bobby Townsend left the class in that year. In the ninth grade we were joined by Charles Greathouse, Randall Jones, Ann Pritt, Perry Lee Pritt, Kathleen Self and Freda Lowther. Lawrence Marks was elected president of the class. Kermit Kirkpatrick, Leo Radcliff, Perry Lee Pritt, and Margaret Townsend left our class that year. In the tenth grade we were joined by Jimmy Bosely and Gene Stewart. Franklin Crouch was elected president of the class. Ernest Lockard, Burl Peggs, Lonnie Skinner, Perry Addison Pritt, and Jim Bosely left our class this year. In the junior class we were joined by Hilda Billups. Mr. Edmond E. Stewart, our sponsor since the seventh grade, went to another school, and Mr. R.E. Collins became our sponsor. The officers for this year were as follows, president--Franklin Crouch, vice-president--Leonard McHenry, secretary--Leroy Herron, treasurer--Charles Greathouseg reporter-- Ray James. Our class colors were Spanish coral and aqua. The higher we climb, the better the view is our motto. We sponsored the AutumnFesti- val and presented the junior play.
