Since his arrival at our school eight years ago, the Sand Creek Band has become known as one of the best bands in this area. In addition to Mr. Farley ' s work with the senior band, he has added a junior high band and a music theory class to the curricu- lum while also expanding the elementary school music program. Under his influence our music students have greatly improved their playing ability and have developed more mature musical tastes. In conversation with Mr. Farley one becomes aware that besides his great interest in music he is interested in many other areas. On many a morning he can be seen buzzing to school in his red MG, for he has a great love of sports cars. He is also an avid football fan, a book-lover, and a devoted family man. To this man of many talents we, the senior class, didicate this 1967 Harvester. Superintendent DONALD HARLAN B.A. Adrian College M.A. University of Michigan Every school has a man who sees to it that the students, parents, and teachers do their best to get and give the best education. Such a man here at Sand Creek is Mr. Don Harlan. After teaching in this school system for many years, Mr. Harlan now manages the business end of the system. He is able to manage the school finan- cially and yet has time to take an interest in every student, parent, and teacher. Responsibility, dedication, and education are just a few of the innumerable qualities of our fine superintendent. Principal ROBERT ROTH B.A. Bowling Green State University M.A. Indiana State University The principal of a high school should be the leader of the faculty and students. He must be firm, yet fair to all. At Sand Creek this outstanding man is Mr. Robert Roth. Past principal of an Ohio school and graduate of an Ohio university, Mr. Roth has proven beyond a doubt that both in Ohio and Michigan he is the type of high school leader we need. It is our good fortune to have such an outstand- ing man as Mr. Roth with us. Guidance Counselor RICHARD BUTLER B.S. Adrian College M.A., Spec. Ed. Eastern Michigan M.T.S.
