SCHOOL BOARD LINKS COMMUNITY WITH EDUCATION Forming the vital link between the community and the school, our school board has done a marvelous job of keeping the citizens of the community well informed. We owe our sincere thanks to these men who devote so much of their time and energy to improving our school.

In every school there is a teacher who •not only teaches, but goes far beyond the academic life. In our school this special person is Mr. Richard Butler, man extra- ordinaire. He has helped us obtain a better under- standing of ourselves and other people so that in the future we may be able to meet obstacles in life with less difficulty. Although busily engaged in many activ- ities, he is always willing to set them aside and give needed help and advice. DONALD HARLAN Superintendent After many years in the Sand Creek school system, this year Mr. Harlan became the school superintendent. His concern for the students of Sand Creek and his willingness to de- vote his time to solving the problems of the school have earned the respect of all who know him.
