Joanne Stricklin, Wendel Wood, and Jo Ann Rohrback entered for their first year at Sand Creek. John Barber Ronald Rendell, Ken Maynard and Wendel Wood left us before the year was over. We welcomed the Freshmen into high school in Nov- ember with a partyC?D Most of them survived the initia- tion. In September we went to Detroit to the zoo and the ball game at Br1ggs'Stadium with the Freshmen. Sort of a peace offering! McGregor We have been busy making money this year. We sold school supplies and candy at noon. We also took orders for stationery at two different times. In the spring we had a scrap drive. We received our class rings in September. The Junior-Senior Banquet and the Junior Play, both given in the spr1ng,marked the highlights of our Junior year. As Juniors we are looking forward to receiving the gavel and taking our place as Seniors of 1950. At the beginning of the year we had thirty-five members, and in March we welcomed Fulton McClain, from Hudson.
